132 – TITUS LIVIUS – Set of 2 volumes published in Lyon by Claude Morillon (large 16mo): ‘Titi Livii Patavini Historicorvm Omnivm Romanorvm facilè Principis, Historiarvm ab urbe condita, Decas Tertia. ’ 1614 and ‘Titi Livii Patavini Historicorvm Omnivm Romanorvm facilè Principis, Historiarum ab urbe condita, Decas Quarta.’ 1614. (followed by the ‘Decatis Quintae’ accompanied by Florus’s epitome). Text in Latin. Headpieces and initials. Printer’s mark at the end of the first volume (stains). Pages 49 to 64 of the first part of the second volume are missing. Worn 17th-century full sheepskin bindings (some losses, particularly in the second volume). Gilded fillets framing the covers. Ribbed spine decorated with gilded fleurons. Interiors in fair condition. An early 17th-century Lyon edition of the third, fourth and fifth decades of Livy’s *Ab Urbe Condita* (History of Rome).
