Full contemporary sheepskin (some scuffing). Spine with raised bands lavishly decorated with bouquets, volutes and floral motifs, featuring a title label (2 damaged caps). Satisfactory condition overall. An important work on Angevin customary law, bringing together Gabriel Dupineau’s commentary, the notes of Charles Du Moulin and the observations of Claude Pocquet de Livonnière, including notably a collection of famous judgements handed down for the province of Anjou and a treatise on the common borders of Anjou and Poitou.
