203- FORESTIÉ (Édouard): ‘On the old earthenware works of Montauban, Ardus, Négrepelisse, Auvillar, Bressols, Beaumont, etc. … (Tarn-et-Garonne) ’ Montauban: Imprimerie Forestié Neveu, 1876. 8vo, illustrated with figures in the text, a frontispiece and 20 plates. Contemporary half-basane binding. Smooth spine decorated with gilt fillets. Good condition. Copy enhanced by an autograph letter from the author inserted into the binding. 2 pp in-8 written in Montauban on 3 February 1873 and addressed to Monsieur De Lapierre. Brown ink. Concerning earthenware from the Ardus factory, for which the author proposes an exchange.
