Description
209 – 20th-century Toulouse herbarium (1963) – 79 folio-sized plates of plants with old printed labels and handwritten notes. Each label states the family, the scientific and French names, and in some cases the date and place of collection (Orchidaceae, Papilionaceae, Liliaceae, Geraniaceae, Urticaceae, etc.) Some plates are stored in a folder entitled ‘herbarium of noxious plants’. A few items are missing and some plants have come loose. The whole collection is housed in a drawing box with laces. Varying conditions (the stated number of sheets (79) refers only to those containing plants that are neither detached nor damaged).
