Explanatory text and 29 plates drawn and engraved in line by the author after the marble sculptures in the Musée des Petits-Augustins, bringing together all the plans, sections, elevations and details of these two monuments. Scattered light foxing.

- LARMESSIN (Nicolas de). THE AUGUST REPRESENTATIONS OF ALL THE KINGS OF FRANCE from Pharamond to Louis XIII, known as the Great, currently reigning. Paris, J. Colart, 1688. In-4° brown calfskin, decorated ribbed spine (contemporary binding).
A fully engraved collection comprising a title page and 64 PORTRAITS OF THE KINGS OF FRANCE. Each illustration is accompanied by a historical summary detailing their births, character traits and most notable deeds during their reigns. Handwritten table of contents at the end. Small marginal tear with no loss of text. Binding worn.
