In-4° in loose sheets, with half-leather binding, slipcase and case. 27 original woodcuts in the text by Jacques-Armand Roullet. Limited edition of 140 copies, numbered on Johannot paper; this copy is one of the first 100 reserved for members, printed for Mathieu Varille. This copy is enhanced with an ORIGINAL graphite DRAWING, four proof prints of the same woodcut on different papers for the illustration on page 42, and the illustrated menu. The slipcase is slightly soiled. ED
