Michelet, (Jules) - The Witch. Second revised and expanded edition. Bruxelles, A. Lacroix 1863. In-12° half black basane, 420 pp. The work is preceded by a "Notice of the second edition" (pp. V-VI) dated 1 December 1862. Contrary to what Vicaire, Talvart and Place appear to believe, this edition contains all three chapters devoted to the case of Fr Girard and La Cadière. A few corrections at the beginning of chapter IX (p. 115), a corrected note at the end of chapter XII (p. 164), two notes added to the Notes et éclaircissements at the end of the volume: Classification géographique de la sorcellerie, pp. 387-391) and Rapports de Satan avec la Jacquerie, pp. 400-401).
