First edition of Herodotus published by Henri Estienne (Beautiful and very accurate, Brunet III, 122) with the Greek text and Valla’s Latin translation in the second volume. The four fold-out plates depict Babylon, the bridge and the castle of Semiramis, the Hanging Gardens and the Tower of Babel.
