(Manuscript) – ILLUMINATED MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE FROM 1634. Issued in Lyon on 25 January 1634 at the Church of Saint Nizier, signed by the Vicar ‘AUBERT’, certifying the marriage between Jean Valentin and Catherine Pavie. Parchment (270 x 390 mm) with the central text written in blue and gold against a background of biblical figures painted in gouache. Traces of creasing and small areas missing. Framed under glass.
