(Manuscript) – ILLUMINATED MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE FROM 1647 Issued on 20 February 1647 at Saint Nizier, signed by Benoist (?…), certifying the marriage between Jean Du Moulin and Catherine Bossud. Parchment (250 x 340 mm) with the central text written in black against a background of biblical figures painted in gouache. Printed inscription at the bottom: ‘In Lyon at Louis Pinchart’s, Rue Ferrandière, under the sign of Purgatory’. Traces of creasing and small areas missing. Framed under glass.
