Quarto, raspberry-coloured morocco, interior edging decorated with gilt fillets, ribbed spine, gilt edges, cover and spine; slipcase decorated with an inked copperplate engraving (H. Alix). 30 original drypoint engravings in black by Michel Ciry, including the frontispiece and 3 full-page plates. Printed in a run of 190 numbered copies; one of 18 printed on Montval paper, comprising an ORIGINAL DRAWING, AN INKED COPPERPLATE, a suite with notes on Japanese paper, and a suite on Chinese paper (29 out of 30, including 2 on a different type of paper). A very fine copy, superbly bound by H. Alix.
