This rare book is ONE OF THE MOST ASTONISHING ITALIAN BAROQUE ILLUSTRATED BOOKS.
Through magnificent plates, it depicts Saint Francis of Assisi’s retreat into solitude in the heart of the Italian Apennines, where he received the stigmata in September 1224.
