[Indochina - Vietnam]. ALBUM OF 68 PHOTOS divided into 2 parts: In-4° oblong (370 x 270 mm), black half-chagrin with corners (1926). Luxurious commemorative album devoted to 2 historic events in the history of Vietnam during the colonial era. It was not intended for the general public, as this prestigious object was given to high-ranking French officials or members of the imperial family. It shows with precision the rituals of the Nguyen court. The two painted titles are surrounded by a decorative border rich in traditional symbolism, dragons, phoenixes and all the photos are mounted on tabs, set in a wide gold fillet with the caption handwritten in white ink under each one. 1. INTRONATION CEREMONIES OF H.M.
