In 12 grand format with uncut margins, 312 pages, bound in half gragin with green corners and a sun-stamped ribbed spine, covers and spine preserved, top edge gilt; a fine bibliophile’s copy. Émile Henriot (1889–1961), the pen name of Paul Maigrot, was a French poet, writer, essayist and literary critic. He was elected to the Académie Française in 1945, with no other candidates standing against him, such was the certainty of his election given his popularity.
