Larrouy, Maurice – *Le révolté* – With a long handwritten dedication at the front of the book, dated 14 August 1924. Included is a 4-page autograph letter (of great literary quality) addressed to Mr Mosse (an occasional author and great scholar) and dated 6 November 1924. Les Éditions de France, 1924, in-12, bound in ornate smooth half-calf, covers intact, 309 pages, a very fine copy. Maurice Larrouy (1882–1939) was a naval officer and writer, also known by his pen name René Milan. The work presented here, a first edition, was adapted into a film in 1938.
