RIMBAUD (Arthur) – *Les illuminations* – No place of publication; Georges Israël, 1981 – 1 folio volume in loose-leaf format, bound in a blue folder and housed in a turquoise cloth slipcase decorated by the publisher and adorned with a bronze appliqué (the seer’s eye) on the front cover - A luxurious publication illustrated with 16 double-page lithographs and screen prints by Raymond Moretti, all signed in pencil by the artist, and preceded by an introduction by Philippe Sollers - A very fine numbered copy (no. 136 of a total print run of 343), enhanced by an autograph dedication signed by the artist in pencil on one of the white endpapers - In perfect condition and featuring a striking illustration by Raymond Moretti (1931–2005), who in 1982 was awarded the Prix de l’Aigle d’Or, one of the highest international honours bestowed upon an art book.
