Joüon des Longrais – Nantes; Société des Bibliophiles Bretons, 1880 – 1 volume, large 8vo – Slight scattered foxing - Title in red and black ink - Contemporary speckled tan sheepskin binding (partial tears at the joints, partially restored on the front cover) - Central gilded coat of arms of the Louis XVI Circle of Nantes on the front cover - Spine (roughly restored) with decorative raised bands - Title labels in tan morocco - Red headband - Circle’s ex-libris stamp - A fairly good copy, the first of 200 numbered copies on Vergé paper (no. 197), inscribed (Cercle Louis XVI) in a rare first edition.
