[MANUSCRIPT – THE WARS OF THE VENDÉE] – Account of the services rendered by the soldiers of the Vendée to the sacred cause of the throne and the altar and to the august House of Bourbon – 1 page on 1 folio-sized sheet - Early 19th-century manuscript in brown ink containing surnames, first names, dates and places of birth, ranks, service records, injuries and remarks concerning 20 soldiers - Signed in the bottom right-hand corner by Captains Rivet, Clouet, Bonneton (?), Pinceteau (?) and Ramée – The sheet is slightly creased, with folds and small tears. Pinned to it is a handwritten note on laid paper asking Pierre Ramé to show consideration for Gabriel Aubain given his unfortunate circumstances.
