Narrow in-8 (ca. 33 x 10.5 cm.). 41 numbered loose oblong leaves. Handwritten in ink (central fold, some soiling on verso, small tear not missing in fine).
Autograph manuscript signed.
Clean text of an article or lecture, with a few rare erasures. Zaleski distinguished himself in the world of letters by his active participation in the recognition of Polish literature, in Paris from 1914, where he held the first chair of Polish. He later played an active role in the French Resistance and promoted Franco-Polish relations.
Zygmunt Lubicz-Zaleski (born Zygmunt Zaleski of the Lubicz family) was a Polish writer, poet, academic, patriot and diplomat, born in Klonowiec (1882-1967).
