Rare masonic manuscript document from the early 19th century.
Painting, with large red wax seal (5 x 6 cm) of the Sovereign Chapter of Loving Wisdom in the valley of Marseilles.
With various autograph signatures of the Venerables of the Lodge.
On sheet, in square folio (52 x 55 cm), ruled in pencil, brown ink on laid paper, vignette engraved in black at the head (radiating star with name of the lodge in its centre), (binding and light soiling, small central opening without missing, edges a little tired in places, small side tear, some wear due to ink).
Dated 1820.
Table of FF:. Chev:. Composing the souv:. chap:. under the distinctive title of the amiable wisdom regularly constituted in the valley of Marseilles at the time of the 30:. day of the month called "Thisri" the 5:.th year of the mastery of the 56:.th G:. M:. the year of regeneration on 30 March 1820. The table distributes the names of baptism and family and the civil qualities (trades) and Masonic of each knight.
Honorary and official mentions with autographs at the bottom of the table. A very interesting document for the sociology and history of early nineteenth-century masonry in Provence.
