2 works in one volume in-8. Later brown chagrin, smooth spine decorated with small cold-stamped bird motifs, gilt author, cold-stamped frame on covers, double gilt fillet on back covers, moiré endpapers, gilt edges (spines and covers slightly rubbed, margins short, title of La Vénerie disbound, marginal restorations, tears not serious except for f. 30 and 31 with part of the leaf torn off, small marginal wormholes on f. 75-96 of the 2nd book slightly affecting the text of a few pages, wet spots, missing ff. 26, 27 and 112 of the first book).
Reunion of these 2 technical reference works on hunting, which go hand in hand.
Both works are characterised by a rich illustration, entirely woodcut, including full-page and half-page vignettes, bands and initials.
