In-8, 186 pp. with figures. 19th century marbled and reddened fawn basane, smooth spine decorated, red title-piece, missing headpieces, copper engraved roulette, red edges (corners dulled, light spotting on a few leaves towards the end of the work, marginal worm work).
Very rare Lyon edition published by Jean de Tournes in 1556 of this treatise on palmistry, physiognomy and natural astrology.
Only one entry in the CCFr (BnF).
Illustrated with a woodcut medallion to the title, the portrait of Indagine, and numerous woodcut figures in text. The engravings are attributed to Bernard Salomon.
