A Paris, chez N. Langlois, (ca XVIIIe). Small oblong folio (28 x 36 cm), 241 black copper-engraved plates including 3 titles. Slightly later spotted fawn basane, spine ribbed and decorated, havana title page, decorated boxes, triple gilt fillet framing the covers, gilt roulette on the spine boards (binding rubbed, spine ends and hinges cracked, marginal defects including spots of freckling, some restorations mainly in the margins sometimes reaching the engravings, stain on the view of the Paris Observatory). Important suite of 241 black copper engravings by Pérelle, printed by N. Langlois. It consists of three parts, each opening with an engraved title, the first with 18 views of different parts of Paris.
