(2) ff., XX-21-184 pp. Rigid vellum binding with gilt decoration on the back, ribbed spine adorned with gilt floral panels, morocco-bound title label, gilt title, triple gilt fillet framing the covers, gilt edges (vellum slightly soiled and stretched, quires oxidised). Bibliography: Quérard II, 730. Description: With 2 plates of musical notation (pp. 125 and 173), 6 headpieces, 2 tailpieces and 7 plates, all engraved in black by Joseph de Longueil after Eisen or Wille First edition in a fine vellum binding from the first half of the 19th century. A successful lyric poem by the author, a royalist journalist at the outset of the Revolution and a man of many talents of his time.
