Bearing the handwritten signature of Louis Alexandre de Bourbon (1678–1737), Grand Veneur to the King. Count of Toulouse and French prince, son of Louis XIV and Madame de Montespan, Admiral of France. Louis XV had great affection for the Count, with whom he shared a love of hunting; he served as Grand Venueur of France from 1714 to 1737.
