Soft, fawn-coloured morocco leather binding of the period, with a triple gilt fillet framing the covers, a plain, decorated spine, and endpapers of gilt-patterned paper with a floral motif (slight wear). Description: Small 18th-century manuscript: text written in brown ink on laid paper, within a border. Beautiful, legible handwriting. Detailed list of names, titles or ranks, career progression and dates of entry from 1715 onwards for various individuals and members of the Musketeers, officers or the regiment. An interesting register of the King’s Musketeers under Louis XV from 1715 to 1771. A small addition in a different hand but from the same period. A fine copy.
