Square 8vo, large leporello lithograph (17 x 200 cm) in the publisher’s illustrated and gilt cardboard case (very slight wear and minor soiling to the cardboard).
Description:
Large frieze lithographed in black and delicately watercoloured with highlights.
Consisting of a single lithograph printed on four joined sheets, each bearing a title at the bottom of the scene: *Le Rendez-vous*, *Le Goûter dans la forêt*, *L’Hallali* and *La Curée froide*.
Fontainebleau Castle in the background; the imperial family with Napoleon III and the Empress. The hunters are in the uniform of the Imperial Hunting Party.

Includes a handwritten letter on letterhead from *La Giberne*, a military review, dated 1921, Luplanté, la Bourdinière: a proposal to a client and a description of the work.
