The illustrations comprise a frontispiece portrait of the author, engraved by Léon Boisson after Deveria, and 15 compositions by A. Michelena, including one plate, a header vignette and a footer vignette for each act. Printed in an edition of 500 copies, including 150 special editions on Japanese paper or Marais vellum; this copy is no. 25, on Japanese paper.
