Large 8vo, (3) folios including a frontispiece, XX–184 pp. Havana morocco, raised ribbed spine decorated with a gold fillet, author, title, place and date in gold, panels adorned with gold fleurons and edged with gold and black fillets, thick framing of multiple gold or black fillets with gold metal fittings, double gilt fillet on the edges and caps, double framing of a double gilt fillet on the endpapers with fleurons at the corners, endpapers and half-leaves lined with embroidered black cloth, gilt edges, original cover preserved, slipcase with flaps and matching case [Mercier].

This copy is enhanced by a watercolour signed by the artist on the frontispiece; a double set of engravings; and a prospectus.
