Bibliography: Vicaire VII, 514. Description: Illustrated first edition. The illustrations comprise 46 compositions, including the frontispiece, and 5 plates engraved by Gillot after Poirson and chromolithographed by Lahure.   Limited edition of 225 copies on Japanese paper from the Manufacture Impériale; this is no. 178. A fine copy in an elegant morocco binding signed Chambolle-Duru.
