Square 8vo, 121 pp. Paperback in the publisher’s illustrated slipcase (upper edges of the slipcase creased with a small tear at the top left-hand corner; a few water stains on one of the author’s letters). Description: First edition with an autographed ‘ex dono’ dedication by Jean Marais. Copy featuring a signed drawing by Cocteau on the half-title page, depicting the actor’s profile. This copy was presented by Jean Marais to Léon-Mary Estèbe (1923–2020), a French author and poet. It is accompanied by two autograph letters from Jean Marais, dated 1951, addressed to Léon-Mary Estèbe himself.
