In-8, paperback bound in the publisher’s padded cover printed in green after De Feure, with a printed dust jacket and an illustrated, gilt cover featuring a large composition of a peacock signed Belville, bearing Octave Uzanne’s bookplate. An illustrated edition featuring 31 separate black-and-colour etchings, engraved after Granié and Heidbrinck on Japanese paper. Limited edition of 176 numbered copies; this one, no. 31, was printed for Henri Cherrier. Presented in a black morocco box with decorated paper covers, the title and author’s name gilded on the spine, signed by Bichon."
