The Birds volume is a second edition dated 1855. Bound in the publisher’s black percaline with polychrome decoration, smooth spine with ornamentation, all edges gilt. (some foxing, a few scorched leaves, rubbed binding, slight repairs and small tears, a few loose leaves)"
