Signed letter addressed to Mr Gueidon, publisher of *Le Plutarque Provençal*, Paris, 10 October 1854. 1 page, in-12 format. He acknowledges receipt of the first instalment of your *Plutarque*. He is willing to contribute only after having completed his history of the Consulate and the Empire Muret, Jules (1759–1847). Member of the National Assembly for the canton of Vaud, President of the Council of State. Commission as lieutenant of the elite musketeers, issued to Nicolas Rodolphe Tissot, in Lausanne, 16 October 1819. 1 p. folio, printed letterhead, superb vignette and seal.
