Nököping, P. E. Winge, 1835. 2 vols. in-8°, ochre half-shagreen, ribbed spine decorated with gilt fillets (contemporary binding). Map on each title page. In this Swedish edition, the author recounts his journey to the United States in 1826, during which he visited, amongst other places, Niagara Falls and Washington, and describes the Constitution and the armed forces.
A small stain on the lower corner of volume I of the binding; some foxing.
We are also including, by the same author: *Resa mellan Södra norra Amerika*. Stockholm, 1833. One vol. (of 2), in-8°, plum-coloured half-shagreen binding of the period. Foxing. Heraldic ex libris.
