Description
[Alsace. Wissembourg prints]. BILDERBOGEN, Scheibenbilder. Wissenburg, C. Burckardt, [c. 1880]. Large oblong folio album with a printed cover, containing 50 targets featuring animals or soldiers, 25 of which are repeated twice, lithographed in colour.
In 1877, Burckardt took over from Wentzel and began signing the images with his own name, continuing to do so until his death in 1888.
