Arabic manuscript on paper of different colours (blue, yellow, pink...), incomplete, and in different hands. A gloss by al-Jâmî for the use of his son Ziyâ al-Dîn of the Kâfiyâ, an Arabic grammar (syntax treatise) composed by Ibn al-Hâjib. 17 lines per page in Turkish ta'liq in black and red ink within a red fillet. Numerous marginal notes written in all directions, and interlinear notes. Bound in brown leather with incised geometric decoration. (Minor accidents, beginning missing, tears, colophon torn, stains, scribbles, restorations, not collated)
