Description
Collection of four works relating to Porphyry's Isagogè, Ottoman, one of the texts dated 24 Dhu'l-Hijja 1094 AH /14 December 1683 Arabic manuscript on paper in four parts by several hands, 19 lines per page in black and red ink in naskh script. The first text is al-Hawashi 'ala al-Fanariyya, by Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Khidr al-'Amari, known as Qul Ahmad. The colophon of the first text states that it was copied by 'Abd Allah and dated the evening of Monday 24 Dhu'l-Hijja 1094H. The second text is al-Fawa'id al-Fanariyya by Molla Fenari, following on from the previous one, written in a red frame. The third text is Hashiyat 'ala Sharh Isaghuji by Muhyi al-Din Taliji's (d. 906/1500-1501), a commentary on al-Kati's Sharh Isaghuji, which follows in the book. The fourth text is Sharh Isaghuji, by Husam al-Din Hasan al-Kati (d. 760/1358-9), which is a commentary on al-Abhari's Kitab Isaghuji. Numerous marginal notes, a few interlinear notes. Hamza b. al-Fanari (Molla Fenari), which is a collection of annotations on the subject of al-Abhari's Isagogè.
