Treatise on calligraphy, Risalat Adab al-Mashq, attributed to Mir 'Imad al-Hassani, qajar, dated 20 Rajab 1284H /17 November 1867
Fine Persian manuscript on coloured paper (pink, blue, green, etc.). 16 folios, 11 of which are written. 11 lines per page in black ink in nasta'liq by several hands within a frame of polychrome fillets. Beautiful illuminated frontispiece on the first page. Colophon dated. Stamp of the Adamiyat library on the first page with date AH 1340 / AD 1921-22. Bound in leather (wear, small stains, worn binding, otherwise good condition, not collated).
