Paris, François Buisson, 1807. in 8 half bound, black chagrin title and giblets. Marbled edges.
Vol. l 408 pp. - Vol. 2 406 pp. - Atlas in 4 half bound, XVIII plates including 3 folding maps and 2 in vivid colours representing exotic plants : "Le Mangoustan" and "Le Ramboutan". The plates are engraved in intaglio and signed by Tardieu aîné, Maillet, Guyot, Delignon.
British politician, historian, admiral and explorer Sir John Barrow (1764-1848) made this voyage in 1792-1793.
