Half-basane with small paper corners, smooth spine decorated with gilt fillets, scrolls and fleurons, title page in green marbled paper. "Highly concise yet fairly comprehensive, this dictionary served as a model for the major 19th-century editions (Brunet, Quérard, etc.). Its bibliography of the Aldus works is impressive.
