BEAUPRE (Jean-Nicolas) – Historical and bibliographical research into the beginnings of printing in Lorraine and its development up to the end of the 17th century. Followed by Further bibliographical research on Lorraine 1500–1550. Saint-Nicolas de Port, Imprimerie Trenel, 1845, in-8, VIII–542 + 32 pp., contemporary brown half-calf binding, plain spine with decorative lettering. The author was a counsellor at the Imperial Court of Nancy, a member of the Académie Stanislas and the Lorraine Archaeological Society, and a corresponding member of several academies.
