[BROULIER (Nicolas de)] – Defence of the Church of Toul, together with the decree of His Grace the Bishop, Count of Toul, Prince of the Holy Roman Empire. Toul, published by Louis & Estienne Rolin, 1727, in-4, table of contents, 288 pp. + CLVI and 41 pp., contemporary full calf binding, spine decorated with five raised bands, marbled edges. 156 pages of charters followed by a memorandum from the Archbishop of Saint-Dié and the judgement of the Metropolitan Consistory of Trier. Bookplate of Joseph-Chrisostome Lemoine, formerly a gift from the Bishop of Toul, Drouas, to Lemoine, parish priest, then from the Reverend Pégin to a Mr. Mansuy, parish priest of Toul, in 1884; and finally a handwritten bookplate by Clanché, parish priest of Toul and a Lorraine author.
