Toul, Alexis Laurent, 1704, in-12, XLVIII + 544 pp., contemporary binding in marbled calfskin, spine decorated with five raised bands, marbled edges. This book is a history of Lorraine as told through its princes. Benoît Picard traces the origins of the County of Chaumontois back to before Gérard of Alsace and Saint Arnoul, then traces the genealogy of the princes of Lorraine back to Leopold I. In very fine condition. Ex-libris of Albert Denis.
