Description
PILLODS (Robert) – Images from the Old Testament. Paris, Editions Messages, 1950, folio, 91 plates, paperback, loose-leaf in a cardboard folder and a slipcase. Preface by Pierre Emmanuel. A copy numbered on laid paper from the Manœuvre paper mills (Doubs). The offset prints were produced by Gérard Vau et fils in Mulhouse. Pillods was a painter from Franche-Comté, originally from Hérimoncourt in the Doubs (1908–1990). An article about him appeared in the 1997 edition of the *Société d’Emulation de Montbéliard*.
