CANGA ARGÜELLES (José) Madrid, Miguel de Burgos, 1833–1836. Observations on the History of the Spanish War. 3 vols. in-8 (20 x 13 cm), brown sheepskin, with fillet borders and embossed motifs on the covers; the remainder of the covers granited; smooth spine decorated with gilt and embossed motifs (contemporary Spanish binding). Bindings slightly rubbed. A few foxing spots; the half-title page of volume 2 detached; one quire partially detached. Provenance – Dr de Casamayor (handwritten bookplate). – Dr Jean Sarramon (wet stamp).
