Large folio (31 x 24 cm), green morocco, double frame of gilded fillets with small Napoleonic symbols at the corners and large imperial coats of arms in the centre, decorated ribbed spine, white morocco lining adorned with a double frame of Greek fretwork; the central section left blank, the second adorned with a scattered pattern of mosaic cornflowers, green moiré endpapers, double marbled paper endpapers, gilt head (Émile Rousselle). First edition, illustrated with 48 separate plates on applied Chinese paper. Copy enriched with 31 additional illustrations, making a total of 79 plates. Luxurious binding.
