History of the Peninsular War under Napoleon… by General Foy. Paris, Baudouin, [1828–] 1827. 3 vols. in-8 (19.8 x 12.2 cm), green half-maroquin, plain spine with decoration, full-length coat of arms, red speckled edges (19th-century binding). Posthumous first edition (except for Volume I (1828), which is the third edition), illustrated with a large fold-out plate and 8 fold-out facsimiles. Without the rare atlas. A few foxing spots. – LAPENE (Édouard). Campaigns of 1813 and 1814, on the Ebro, the Pyrenees and the Garonne, preceded by reflections on the last war in Spain. Paris, Anselin and Pochard, Ridan, F.
