[ENGRAVINGS] A collection of 23 Épinal engravings from the Napoleonic period. A collection of 23 beautiful watercolour woodcuts, celebrating Emperor Napoleon I and his marshals. (44 x 63.5 cm, including 4 in portrait orientation), with 3 smaller ones (34.5 x 49.5 cm) on more fragile paper (browned, with tears and marginal losses). A few small tears Also included: – a set of 8 etched and aquatint copperplate engravings entitled ‘Ruinas de Zaragoza’ by Fernando Brambila and Juan Galbez (plate size 43.5 x 54.5 cm and 32.5 x 23.5 cm). A few small water stains, mainly at the margins. – 6 copper etchings (plate size: approx. 32.5 x 21.5 cm) depicting scenes relating to the Napoleonic campaigns in Spain. Minor flaws. – 6 large views by various artists depicting the horrors of the war in Spain, etched on copper (plate: approx. 32 x 45 cm). Paper slightly worn on two engravings. – *Episodio del dos de mayo*, engraved on copper by Galván after Goya (plate: 22 x 28 cm). – A set of 22 woodcuts and chromolithographs depicting military uniforms and battle scenes (approx. 27 x 19 cm).
