5 vols., in-4 (28.5 x 19.5 cm), uniform red shagreen binding, corners decorated with a curved gold fillet, plain spine with a fillet at the top and bottom, red edges (modern binding).
A very interesting collection of documents relating to the Cortes of Cádiz, notably written by Luis Lacy y Gauthier, a key figure in the Peninsular War. Executed in 1817 after leading a revolt against the government of Ferdinand VII, he was recognised in 1820 as a hero of Spanish democracy.
